Partial vs fullsuit: which should you commission?

Both are great. The right choice depends on how you’ll wear your suit, how long you want to be in it and your budget.

Choose a partial if…
- You want to suit for long con days — partials are lighter and cooler.
- Your character wears clothes or has a signature outfit.
- It’s your first suit and you want to start smaller.
Choose a fullsuit if…
- You want full immersion — the whole character, head to toe.
- Your character has body markings you want to show.
- You’re planning photoshoots or performances where silhouette matters.
Comfort and heat
Any suit gets warm. Plan breaks, drink water and have a handler at busy events. A partial lets you cool down faster; a fullsuit needs more planning.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes — many people start with a head or partial and add a body later. Mention it in your quote so we can plan materials.
